Adoption Options is located on Treaty 1 territory, the original land of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Ojibway, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Red River Métis. We offer our heartfelt gratitude to the First Peoples for their role as caretakers of the land. We acknowledge the impact of residential schools and colonialism on Indigenous families and communities and recognize our responsibility both individually and collectively to move forward in a spirit of truth, reconciliation, and collaboration. Adoption Options is committed to understanding Indigenous perspectives and worldviews and will prioritize opportunities to learn about and celebrate the gifts, traditions, and cultures of Indigenous peoples.
